We had a good time ripping into the thing. Observed the buttons, antenna parts and tiny cables. Bob the Monkey, (My Niece), was worried though, that the person who lost it had pictures in it that they would lose. So we stole the battery from her phone and tweaked it until we could fire it up.
We were able to see that there were pictures on it, and I steered through the menus to find the system page with the phone number. Called the number, and talked to a college student who gave me a perfect Stanley Ipkiss - "I didn't lose a phone' "I'm talking about a phone with your number? Found in Fremont in front of DeVry University?" "Oh, that phone, yes I lost that."
Hoo Boy. Confirmed my opinion of DeVry students...

I was going out to lunch last week when I saw a cell phone sitting in the median. It looked like someone had pilfered the battery and then tossed the phone in the street. Case was busted, but it appeared brand new - the plastic sheets were still covering the windows and buttons. The divers are in the tank, cleaning and feeding.
Sharks, pelagic fish, jelly fish, all displayed with wonderful lighting. This is a place with hundreds of opportunities for great shots. This is the only one you get to see, though, as I forgot to charge up the camera.

I am trying to learn about geology a little, while helping my niece with her school project. Millions of years of weathering have sure rounded these boulders, as well as cracked them for more weathering to take place on sharp edges.
In the short run (next million years) they will be worn down to a pile of sand.
